Descriptions
A biomass pellet is by definition a "short cylindrical piece meant for burning, produced through compressing pulverized dry biomass, such as corn stalk, cassava stalk, waste wood, sawdust, pinchip, etc".
As global warming becomes a primary concern world widely, ligneous biomass comes into the spot light as an environmental friendly energy. Biomass pellet reduce CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions. Not only are pellets cheaper than other conventional heating costs, but also they are better for the environmental.

Biomass pellet, made from cornstalk, cassava stalk, and waste wood etc. into pieces, compressed and dried, is already widely used in thermal power plant and heater in advanced countries in Northern Europe and Northern America and its quantity consumed is expected to increase rapidly. As Japan, among the far-east Asian countries, is about to use biomass pellet on a commercial scale firstly, Korea and China also plan to promote policies for using ligneous biomass fuel such as biomass pellet for thermal power plant or heating apparatus in near future.
Biomass pellet is also widely used as animals bedding. Biomass pellet bedding can control ammonia naturally with no additives, keep healthier living area for livestock and generally reduce the costs for livestock farming.

Hanhwa Resources is establishing biomass pellet production line in Vietnam. We will produce a variety of biomass pellet for fuel purposes and animal bedding etc. by using cassava stalk, thinned pine and rubber trees, waste wood from afforestation site, small-diameter log and pinchip, sawdust and residues from existing woodchip line of HANVIHA in Vietnam.
